Nieuwegein – Aqua-Flora® Floatlands Blokhoeve

For the “Blokhoeve” project, the Municipality of Nieuwegein commissioned us to place Aqua-Flora® Floatlands.

For this project a total of 149m2 of Aqua-Flora® Floatlands were placed, consisting of a floating body on which our Aqua-Flora® matten were installed.
The floating units were anchored by means of weight anchors to the bottom of the watercourse.

In the first photo the floating elements are ready to be transferred to the water. Photo two shows a fine example of how alluring our products are: a waterbird immediately wanted to claim this Floatland as its home!
The last photo shows the situation three months later.
